CHAPTER I: GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1: Name
The organization shall be named "Cypriots-Chinese Women & Children Association" (in Greek: Σύνδεσμος Γυναικών και Παιδιών Κύπρου-Κίνας).
Article 2: Establishment
The Association was duly established in Limassol, Cyprus on February 25, 2025, in accordance with Article 5 of the Republic of Cyprus Societies and Foundations Law (104(I)/2017) (Registration No: NGO/2025/025-CY).
Article 3: Logo
3.1 The emblem shall incorporate the national colors and symbols of both Cyprus and China, with the two national symbols united at the center.
3.2 The lower section shall feature figures of children with a woman at the center.
Interpretation:
The Association is an independent organization promoting cross-cultural and international cooperation between Cyprus and China, aiming to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations.
Article 4: Headquarters
The registered office is located at Patriarch Photios 39, Postal Code 4158, Kato Polemidia, Limassol, Cyprus.
CHAPTER II: OBJECTIVES
Article 5: Purposes
The Association's objectives are:
a) To promote cultural dialogue between Cypriot and Chinese communities
b) To organize educational and recreational activities for children combining entertainment with learning about Chinese and Cypriot cultures
c) To promote social responsibility and solidarity through support for vulnerable groups
d) To represent Cyprus in international events, conferences and networks
e) To create networking platforms for women and children
f) To develop educational programs encouraging youth participation in preserving cultural heritage
CHAPTER III: MEMBERSHIP
Article 6: Categories
6.1 Full Members: Natural persons registered in the Association's registry upon application and payment of annual fees (€25)
6.2 Friends of the Association: Natural persons paying reduced annual fees (€10) without voting rights
Article 7: Admission
7.1 Minimum age: 18 years
7.2 No criminal convictions related to nonprofit organization misconduct
7.3 Requires Board approval

10.2 Quorum: 50%+1 members initially; 30% if reconvened

11.1 Composition: 5 members elected biennially

This Constitution was adopted by the General Assembly on February 25, 2025 and takes immediate effect.
